The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum that has just been launched in 2021. This curriculum has a distinctive feature, namely learning projects. In a designed project, it is expected to bring collaboration between and between subjects. This collaboration is the starting point for the entire series of teaching and learning processes. Before designing a process, the first step that needs to be considered is the locality of a school, where the school stands what potential can be chosen as a learning ecosystem so that it finally formulates a project to be made. The subject of history is one of the fields of study that cannot be separated from these collaborative efforts. So it is important how to design learning projects that can accommodate historical content in the curriculum. For service partners for Public High Schools in Buton Regency with coastal typography, the right theme for partners is maritime history. In choosing content, of course, the scientific method is needed. This method will then be disseminated in designing a learning project that can effectively select content so that the material can be linked to other subjects.
