Keywords:

The purpose of this socialization activity is intended so that the Makassar Indonesian Writers' Association (IPIM) continues to exist in its role as a forum that is able to make its members as writers who care about local historical topics and the socio-cultural system of the people of South Sulawesi as literary material. The partner's problem so far is the lack of literary works written using local historical and socio-cultural materials. For this reason, the solution offered is to provide information and understanding to writers about the importance of utilizing historical material and social sciences in writing literary works, provide an overview and mindset with historical dimensions regarding themes that can enrich literary work material, and provide motivation in the form of love for the historical and cultural heritage of local communities in Indonesia.
